Our Vision
We believe in a world where everyone, regardless of their country’s wealth or frontiers, enjoys access to medicines and healthcare when they need it.
Our Mission
We work tirelessly to remove access barriers faced by patients and caregivers across Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) when seeking quality medicines and quality healthcare.
Who We Are: Accelerating access to medicines for all
Imagine a world where critical medicines are within reach, affordable, and synonymous with quality, no matter where you are. That is the world we're building with our unique, demand-aggregation model that unites healthcare providers across LMICs. At the heart of our identity is a single, resolute commitment: to build a future where geography and income never stand between any individual and life-saving medicines. Our platform isn't merely a space for transactions, we unlock affordable access to medicines by aggregating demand across healthcare providers. We also help manufacturers build a sustainable and reliable global access strategy.
Our business focuses on low- and middle-income countries and strengthens the purchasing power of these markets to ensure the supply of cost-effective, high-quality medicines.
We partner exclusively with authorized, high-quality pharmaceutical companies and certified caregivers to accelerate sustainable access to medicines.
About the Position:
The Head of Commercial Growth will drive the next stage of Axmed’s commercial expansion by building a deeply informed, data-led, and execution-oriented revenue engine. This role sits at the intersection of opportunity generation, hands-on commercial execution, and business intelligence, with a non-negotiable requirement for extensive experience working with healthcare procurement-oriented NGOs, international organisations, governments, and donor funders.
You will shape how we engage large-scale procurement organizations and how we use data, market intelligence, and insights to identify new opportunities, ensuring our commercial strategy is guided by evidence, procurement realities, and stakeholder dynamics.
As an individual contributor with real deal-making responsibility, working closely with the CCO and our Business Development Directors, you will convert insights into action, strengthen our outbound and account-based strategy, and accelerate revenue growth across priority markets. This position is suited to a commercial leader with proven experience selling into complex, multi-stakeholder environments, who is comfortable operating in a fast-scaling Series A company and who brings strong, demonstrable experience in pharma, global health procurement, and technology-enabled marketplaces.
Your work will directly inform how we grow, where we focus, which accounts we pursue, and how quickly we scale impact across the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Personally originate, qualify, and advance commercial opportunities, including complex, multi-year, multi-stakeholder deals.
Partner with CCO and Business Development Directors to strengthen outreach and deepen customer engagement across NGOs, IOs, Ministries of Health, donors, and implementing partners.
Engage prospective customers with a credible understanding of pharmaceutical procurement, donor funding mechanisms, and regulatory constraints.
Support the development of tailored value propositions, pitches, and deal structures for institutional buyers.
Data & Commercial Insights Leadership
Use data, market intelligence, and business intelligence tools to identify high-value commercial opportunities across NGOs, IOs, governments, and donor-funded programmes.
Build an insights engine that surfaces institutional demand signals, procurement cycles, funding availability, and priority buying windows.
Translate quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable commercial strategies for Business Development Directors and senior leadership.
Develop repeatable processes for opportunity qualification, deal sizing, and prioritisation across complex buyer ecosystems.
Monitor commercial performance and recommend pipeline, pricing, and market-entry optimisations.
Commercial Strategy Execution
Lead insight-driven planning for revenue targets and market prioritisation.
Identify patterns in customer behaviour and synthesize them into growth hypotheses.
Work with cross-functional teams (product, data, operations) to unlock commercial opportunities.
Marketplace Expertise & Leadership
Demonstrate fluency in selling into NGOs, international organisations, governments, and donor-funded health systems
Understand the dynamics of pharmaceutical supply chains, tendering processes, and tech-enabled marketplaces
Act as a thought partner to leadership on commercial growth strategy, pricing, and market entry
Model hands-on, high-ownership commercial behaviours in a fast-paced Series A context
Requirements:
Extensive experience working commercially with NGOs, international organisations, governments, and/or donor funders (mandatory)
Proven, hands-on commercial experience closing deals, not advisory or purely strategic roles
Strong pharmaceutical industry experience (highly preferred), including exposure to procurement, supply chains, or institutional buyers
Demonstrated success selling technology or SaaS-like solutions into complex, regulated environments
Hands-on capability in data analysis and business intelligence to drive commercial decisions
Proven experience driving commercial growth and revenue generation in scaling environments
Ability to translate data, insight, and market intelligence into clear commercial action
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across senior audiences
Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous, high-growth environments
Track record of building pipelines, closing revenue, and accelerating growth—not just supporting it
