About the Position:
Axmed is hiring a Global Finance Manager to strengthen its internal accounting capability and play a critical role in the deployment and ownership of its finance systems.
This role sits at the intersection of technical accounting and finance systems, with a strong emphasis on ERP (Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations). The successful candidate will act as a finance SME during ERP deployment, ensuring that accounting processes, controls, and reporting requirements are correctly embedded into the system.
Alongside ERP ownership, this role will take responsibility for multi-entity accounting operations, improve the efficiency of the global month-end close, and progressively absorb outsourced accounting work into an internally managed structure.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone coming from a shared services, BPO, or multinational accounting environment, who is comfortable managing complexity across entities, currencies, and jurisdictions while operating in a fast-moving organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Ownership & Finance Systems
Act as finance lead and SME for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations deployment
Support ERP implementation phases including UAT, configuration validation, and go-live readiness
Ensure accounting logic, chart of accounts, and reporting structures are correctly embedded
Partner with IT to improve financial reporting, data integrity, and system usability
Global Accounting Operations
Own and maintain the general ledger across multiple entities and company codes
Post and review key accounting entries (revenue, COGS, accruals, intercompany, prepayments) under IFRS
Ensure accurate multi-entity and multi-currency accounting treatment
Month-End Close & Reporting
Support and improve the global month-end close process, reducing timelines and errors
Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data across all entities
Maintain supporting schedules and ensure audit-ready documentation
Multi-Entity & Outsourced Accounting Oversight
Review and validate work from external accounting providers across jurisdictions
Ensure consistency in accounting treatment and identify discrepancies
Gradually transition outsourced accounting (starting with Switzerland) in-house
Process Improvement & Scale
Improve accounting workflows, controls, and reconciliation processes
Build scalable processes suitable for a growing multi-entity organisation
Contribute to the evolution of Axmed’s global finance operating model
Requirements:
Experienced accountant with hands-on ownership of financial operations in a multi-entity environment
Strong IFRS knowledge with proven general ledger ownership, reconciliations, and month-end close
Experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency accounting, including intercompany transactions
Direct involvement in ERP implementation (e.g. UAT, go-live, super user), ideally with Dynamics 365 F&O or similar
Experience working with and reviewing external accounting providers across multiple jurisdictions
Background in shared services, BPO, or multinational finance environments
Systems-oriented, detail-driven, and focused on improving processes and efficiency
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate effectively across global teams and time zones
