Axmed Global Health Advisory is the access-focused advisory arm of Axmed, a social impact company dedicated to improving access to medicines across low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). As a specialized advisory firm, Axmed Global Health Advisory partners with private sector, global health organizations, and industry stakeholders to develop and implement market access strategies, innovative financing models, and go-to-market solutions tailored to LMIC healthcare systems.
About the Position:
We are seeking a driven and analytical Analyst to support strategy development, market research, and data-driven insights that accelerate access to medicines in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to shape go-to-market strategies, contribute to innovative financing solutions, and support health system strengthening projects, all while collaborating with a diverse range of global health partners and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uncover Insights That Matter: Conduct deep-dive quantitative and qualitative research into healthcare markets, supply chains, pricing models, and health financing across LMICs — turning data into actionable strategies.
- Power Strategic Decisions: Analyze market data, distil insights, and build frameworks to guide client recommendations — from market entry strategies to access and scale-up plans.
- Create Impact-Driven Deliverables: Develop compelling, client-ready presentations, dashboards, and briefs that inspire action and shape decisions.
- Collaborate for Change: Work cross-functionally with strategy, policy, and partnership teams — ensuring every piece of the puzzle fits together seamlessly.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor evolving global health policies, market trends, and financing innovations to keep our strategies cutting-edge.
- Fuel Growth: Support proposal development, help expand our knowledge base, and contribute to scaling our impact across global health ecosystems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Economics, Life Sciences, Data Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 2–4 years of experience in research-heavy, fast-paced environments such as consulting, think tanks, global health organizations, or similar.
- Experience in market assessments, competitive analysis, forecasting, or health systems research.
- Background working with or advising pharmaceutical companies, global health donors (e.g., Global Fund, GAVI, Gates Foundation), or Ministries of Health.
- Exposure to healthcare sectors like vaccines, essential medicines, diagnostics, health system strengthening, or health financing is a plus.
